Phillippe Zimet is the immediate past Lead in Endodontics at the La Trobe University School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Phillippe is currently the adjunct Professor in the Department of Rural Health at Latrobe University. He obtained his Masters Degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, USA. Phillippe is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Academy of Dentistry International, International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has published, and lectured nationally and internationally in many aspects of endodontics and infection control.
He is a Past President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (Federal) Inc and the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation. In 2004 he was awarded the ADA (VB) Inc Dentistry Achievement Award for services to the Dental Profession. A/Prof Zimet edited the Systematic Operating Procedure Manual for Infection Control for ADA (VB) Inc. This has been adopted by the Australian Dental Association federally as the standard of infection control in dental practices. In 2014 Phillippe was accepted as an Honorary Life Member of the Australian Society of Endodontology (VB). In 2016 was inaugurated as a Foundation member International Association for Dental Traumatology.
James Brichko obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science with honors from the University of Melbourne. He practiced general dentistry in private dental practice in Ballarat for several years before returning to Melbourne to complete his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics. James is a clinical tutor in the specialty of endodontics at both the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University as well as a committee member for the Australian Society of Endodontology (Victorian Branch). James is interested in all areas of conservative and surgical endodontics and is passionate about providing his patients with a positive dental experience.
